Mayor Jay Gillian will hold a town hall meeting on Saturday, April 11, to update the public on a series of Ocean City projects heading into the summer tourism season.
The meeting is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Ocean City Free Public Library, 1735 Simpson Avenue.
As the summer season approaches, the city is working on improvements to the beaches, Boardwalk and bayfront.
Other projects include flood-mitigation programs for new neighborhoods, enhancements to the downtown business district, creating open space at 16th Street and the city’s public safety facilities.
Gillian will provide updates and information on those projects and others. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting to learn more. Questions will be welcomed.
A complete video of the meeting will be available after the event.
