The second annual Cape-Atlantic League Unified Run and Walk will take place on Saturday, Nov. 1, in conjunction with the Trail of Two Cities run between Ocean City and Somers Point.
Registration for the 5-kilometer run or 1-mile walk is $30. Proceeds will benefit the Cape-Atlantic League Unified sports program that fosters inclusivity between special education athletes and their peers.
Teams from Ocean City, Mainland Regional, Cape May Special Services, Egg Harbor Township and Cedar Creek high schools are represented in the league.
The 5K run will begin at 8 a.m., with lineup beginning at 7:30 a.m. at the Ocean City Transportation Center at Ninth Street and Haven Avenue. The race will end at John F. Kennedy Park in Somers Point, where the 1-mile walk will begin after the run is finished.
Buses will be available starting at 7 a.m. at the finish line at JFK Park in Somers Point to transport runners to the start before the race.
The last bus to the start of the race in Ocean City will leave JFK Park at 7:30 a.m. Buses will also transport runners back to Ocean City after the race.
