Due to high winds, Ocean City has called off the drone light show that was scheduled to culminate the “Christmas in the Downtown – Our Miracle on Asbury Avenue” holiday celebration this evening.
The drone show will instead be rescheduled to follow the city’s Christmas Parade, which starts at 6 p.m. Friday, Dec. 5.
The rest of the Miracle on Asbury Avenue celebration will go on as scheduled this afternoon and evening. The festivities will include free horse-and-carriage rides downtown, carolers, an appearance by Santa Claus and the annual tree-lighting ceremony in front of City Hall at around 5 p.m.
