The Ocean City Police Department PBA Local 61 will host a National Night Out event from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 5, at Carey Stadium.
The stadium is located behind Ocean City High School, on the beach block between Fifth Street and Sixth Street.
The free, family-friendly event will include bounce houses, face painters, balloon animals, a K-9 demonstration, helicopter landing, dunk tank, food, superhero characters, a drone demonstration and more.
National Night Out was created to strengthen the partnership between the community and police in fighting crime. Different events are held in towns nationwide on the first Tuesday in August.
