The Ocean City Beach Patrol will provide a day of lifeguard camp to Philadelphia-area youth on Wednesday.
The KB Foundation, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved youth through mentorship, education, and career exploration, will bring 25 young men to Ocean City for a “Lunch & Learn” event at the 12th Street Beach.
The hands-on experience will include beach safety instruction, a mini lifeguard camp, team-building activities and a group lunch with OCBP members.
Following the session, the young men will enjoy an afternoon on the Ocean City Boardwalk, including arcade play, ice cream, and mini golf, all donated by local businesses, including Manco & Manco, Jilly’s Arcade, Playland’s Golden Galleon Golf Course and Kohr Bros.
