The Barefoot Country Music Fest and the city of Wildwood announced Wednesday that the festival will remain on the iconic beaches of Wildwood through 2030.
The new agreement, adopted by resolution at Wildwood’s Dec. 11 Board of Commissioners meeting, extends BCMF’s run for another five years, covering 2026-2030.
“We are incredibly honored to announce that the Barefoot Country Music Fest has been approved for another five years on the beautiful beaches of Wildwood, New Jersey,” Rob Pedlow, of Southern Entertainment, said in a news release.
“To say we’re excited is an understatement. Wildwood is home for us and the thousands of fans who join us every year. This wouldn’t be possible without the city’s leadership and the incredible people who make it all run so smoothly. We look forward to continuing to bring unforgettable music experiences to this amazing community,” Pedlow added.
Since its debut in 2020, the event has welcomed a multitude of country music fans each year, establishing itself as a cornerstone of the Wildwood community and a vital contributor to local business and tourism during its four-day celebration, the release stated.
Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr. shared his enthusiasm for the renewed partnership to continue the largest outdoor country music festival in the Northeast.
“Teaming up with Barefoot Country Music Fest for another five years is a no-brainer,” Troiano said in the release. “It’s a win-win for everyone involved. Wildwood continues its decades-long tradition of first-class musical entertainment, while the entire island and Cape May County benefit from the influx of country music fans during the four-day music fest. We’re thrilled to welcome BCMF back.”
BCMF is gearing up for its highly anticipated five-year anniversary celebration, scheduled for June 19-22, 2025. The event will feature over 40 artists, including headliners Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Lainey Wilson, Rascal Flatts and Jordan Davis.
Rising stars like Sam Barber, Bayker Blankenship and Lakeview will also take the stage, with even more artists yet to be announced. Fans can look forward to surprise pop-up performances, giveaways and exclusive beachside experiences.
