The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for most of South Jersey from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. Friday, including the possibility of 1 to 2 inches of snow.
“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Friday evening commute,” according to a statement from the Cape May County Office of Emergency Management.
Snow is expected throughout South Jersey on Friday, including the coastal areas of Atlantic and Cape May counties.
“If you are going outside, watch your first few steps taken on stairs, sidewalks, and driveways. These surfaces could be icy and slippery, increasing your risk of a fall and injury,” the Cape May Police Department warned in a weather alert.
