Traffic on the eastbound (inbound) lane of Roosevelt Boulevard in Ocean City will be detoured on Tuesday to allow a roadway repair.
A portion of the eastbound lane near the intersection of Roosevelt Boulevard and Vernon Lane has settled due to a previous project, according to a traffic advisory.
As a precaution, the contractor for the county's ongoing Roosevelt Boulevard-34th Street reconstruction project plans to repair this area to avoid any future settling.
The repair should be completed within a day. Eastbound traffic will be diverted onto the auxiliary road (Little Roosevelt Boulevard) at the intersection of Vernon Lane while the work is performed.
Westbound (outbound) traffic on Roosevelt Boulevard will not be affected.
