He won’t be flying through town in a sleigh pulled by Rudolph and the other reindeer.
Instead, Santa will hop aboard a fire engine for a trip around Ocean City on Saturday to greet local families for the holiday.
Santa will leave the Ocean City Fire Department station at Sixth Street and Asbury Avenue at 11 a.m. for his trip through local neighborhoods.
From the station, the fire engine, with Santa riding on top, will head south to the Riviera, Bay Landings, Merion Park and Ocean City Homes neighborhoods, before turning north to the Gardens.
Families should listen for the fire sirens to come out to greet Santa.
After passing through the local neighborhoods, Santa will return to the fire station by 1 p.m.
