Tickets go on sale at 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, for two Ocean City Pops shows this summer – one featuring the music of the Broadway musical “Wicked,” and the other featuring the music of Paul McCartney.
The Ocean City Pops Orchestra will be joined by Broadway performers in “GOOD WITCH/BAD WITCH” at 7:30 p.m. July 6 at the Ocean City Music Pier. The show will showcase the vocals and playful banter of singers who have performed as Glinda and Elphaba in “Wicked.”
“Live and Let Die” will feature the talents of Tony Kishman, a veteran of the Broadway smash hit “Beatlemania,” performing with the Pops at 7:30 p.m. July 13.
With state-of-the-art sound and lighting, and a note-perfect visually accurate re-creation, the show will include McCartney works including “Hey Jude,” “Jet,” “Penny Lane,” “Live and Let Die,” “Yesterday,” “Eleanor Rigby,” “My Love,” “Let It Be,” “Maybe I’m Amazed,” “Got to Get You Into My Life” and many more.
