The Eagles announced Friday that A.J. Brown will miss Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints.
This will mark the second consecutive game that the Eagles will be without Brown, who suffered a hamstring injury late last week in practice. He told ESPN's Lisa Salters before Monday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons that he would likely miss "a couple of weeks."
It goes without saying that Brown will continue to be missed by quarterback Jalen Hurts. Brown had five catches for 119 yards and a touchdown in a Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers. The Eagles do have another excellent wide receiver in DeVonta Smith, but the depth at the position falls off a cliff after him.

The Eagles offense will likely need to have a big day at the Caesars Superdome to emerge victorious. Derek Carr and the Saints have scored an NFL-best 91 points through the first two weeks of the season, throttling the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys.
As the Eagles look to slow down the New Orleans offense, it's still unclear if they will have safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson available. He was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report with a foot injury.
