Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3, the Ocean City Free Public Library will be temporarily closed to the public for HVAC maintenance.
“After careful consideration and consultation with the construction team, we have decided that for safety and efficiency, the entire library will remain closed during the project,” library officials said in a news release.
Meeting rooms will remain open, and items can still be checked out using the library's curbside pickup service. Curbside pickup may take longer than usual.
The project is expected to be completed within about three weeks.
"We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding as we work to improve our facilities," the library said in the release.
