An Ocean City man was seriously injured when a car struck him Tuesday morning in the 200 block of 8th Street, police said in a news release.
At about 7:27 a.m., police officers responded to the accident. The pedestrian, 69, whose name was not released, suffered serious injuries.
The man was initially treated at the scene by police officers and members of the Ocean City Fire Department.
He was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
Police said the driver involved in the accident was a 59-year-old Ocean City woman. No further details were released on the driver.
