The following public statement was issued by Interim Schools Superintendent Terrence J. Crowley:
Dear Ocean City School District Family,
I hope you had a healthy and relaxing break. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Terry Crowley and I have the privilege of serving as interim superintendent for the Ocean City schools.
During my years as an educator, I have served in a variety of roles as a teacher, principal, superintendent, and consultant.
In all these activities, I have always placed the needs of the students as the highest priority.
I look forward to meeting members of the school community and listening to their suggestions on how we can better serve our students.
I know from my previous stays in the district, as well as the executive county superintendent of schools for Cape May County, that the goal of all our students and staff is to improve themselves in every way so that Ocean City can continue the tradition of educational excellence for which is known.
Likewise, the community supports this goal and expects us to do everything we can to achieve it.
Thanks for the welcome and I hope that we will all work together for the needs of our students.
