Atlantic City Electric is planning a service interruption for parts of Ocean City at approximately 8:30 a.m. Friday.
Customers will experience a power outage for up to 15 minutes due to equipment replacement work.
A map posted on the city's ocnj.us website shows that the power outage will occur generally in the north end of town from the Acme supermarket on Eighth Street to parts of the Gardens section along the Bay Avenue corridor.
The Ocean City Office of Emergency Management is encouraging homeowners to make any necessary preparations for the outage.
Scheduling of the outage is subject to change based on weather and other factors.
