The National Weather Service has issued multiple advisories as the remnants of Tropical Depression Debby pass by our region.
A tornado watch remains in effect for all of Cape May County through 2 p.m. Friday.
A wind advisory will be in effect through 11 p.m. with sustained southerly winds of 15 to 25 mph gusting to 50 mph. A high surf advisory warns of dangerous surf conditions and a high risk of rip currents through 8 p.m. Friday.
Please monitor conditions and be prepared to take shelter in strong storms. Limit travel in high wind conditions, and secure loose items on your properties. Follow all guidance from the Ocean City Beach Patrol and never swim on an unguarded beach.
