Voters will choose representatives on Ocean City Council for each of the four wards and for the completion of an unexpired term for one at-large seat during the May 14 municipal election.

The timeline for the municipal election also includes the following dates:
- May 7: Deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot by mail.
- May 13: 3 p.m. deadline to apply for a mail-in ballot in person.
- May 14: Deadline for post office receipt of mail-in ballots.
- May 14: Polls are open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. for in-person voting.
- April 23: This was the last day to register to vote to participate in the May 14 election.
