Public Invited to Community Prayer Breakfast Oct. 24

An Ocean City Community Prayer Breakfast will be held Tuesday morning, Oct. 24, at the Ocean City Tabernacle, 550 Wesley Ave. A free continental breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. Philadelphia Phillies Chaplain Jeff Boettcher will share an inspirational message at 8 a.m., followed by a time of prayer for Ocean City families, schoolteachers and administrators, police and fire departments, the mayor and City Council, and local businesses. Prayers will be led by representatives from several local churches and ministries, including Father Tom Newton of St. Damien’s Parish, Brian Roberts, former pastor of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, Marcia Stanford, chaplain of The Shores at Wesley Manor, and John Jamieson, chaplain of the Ocean City Fire Department. All are welcome to attend this opportunity to give thanks and seek God’s blessings on the Ocean City community.
