Military and veteran beach tags are now available at City Hall, the Rt. 52 Welcome Center and the 46th Street Welcome Center.
The tags are free. A current military/veteran ID is required for new recipients, and a driver’s license for renewals.
For regular seasonal beach tags, which went on sale in November, the discounted rate of $30 price will remain in effect through May. On June 1, the price increases to $35.
Beach tags are required for all beachgoers, ages 12 and older, and are in effect from June 3 through September 3.
Only seasonal tags are available for purchase if using online or mail order options.
In addition, weekly and daily beach tags will be available at a later date.
