Soulberri will celebrate the grand opening of its new location in Ocean City at 338 Ocean Ave. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday at 1 p.m.
Soulberri’s owner James Develin is opening his second location at the shore. The original Soulberri is in the central business district in Brigantine.
Develin is a three-time Super Bowl champion with the New England Patriots. In 2017, he became the first Patriot fullback since Sam Cunningham in 1978 to earn Pro Bowl honors. Develin is also part of New England’s All-Dynasty and All-2010’s teams.
Among the dignitaries, Develin is expected to be joined at the ribbon-cutting ceremony by Mayor Jay Gillian, Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Michele Gillian, former NFL executive and media analyst Mike Lombardi, surfer and artist Todd DiCurcio and Attolon Partners Founder Ryan Laffert.
