Billy Tizol, owner of Gnarly Barnacles inside of Stainton’s in downtown Ocean City, started his business three years ago at the age of 22.
His father raised him to love the beach, the ocean and all things related to them. When his father passed away, Billy was inspired to build a business around the thing they both loved so much in honor of the memories they had created together.
Gnarly Barnacles quickly evolved into a saltwater apparel brand with playful designs and fun-loving appeal. Now, the brand has become a favorite of locals and visitors alike.
