On Friday, Sept. 16 at 1 p.m. the Ocean City Library, OCNJ AARP will welcome state Assemblyman Antwan McClellan as the inaugural speaker.
McClellan is an Ocean City resident, former Ocean City Councilman, and presently serves as the assemblyman for the First Legislative District.
He will be speaking about the Senior Freeze program, the Anchor program (formerly Homestead Rebate), public transportation expansion, housing affordability, the law enforcement response to the increase in crime in shore communities, and other issues that affect us.
He will also answer any questions attendees may have on state and local affairs, and how they impact our community.
Mark your calendars and have your questions ready. The event will be held in room 111 of the library, which is located inside the Community Center at 1735 Simpson Ave.
