The Friends and Volunteers of the Ocean City Free Public Library will present the annual Author's High Tea on Thursday, May 5, at 2 p.m. at the Flanders Hotel.
The guest speaker will be former Cape May County Sheriff and U.S. Marshal Jim Plousis and author of "Jersey Lawman: A Life on the Right Side of Crime.”
Plousis will speak about his career, and all his proceeds will be donated to the U.S. Marshals Survivors Benefit Fund.
Tickets sales will be Friday, April 1, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Ocean City Library Atrium.
The cost per ticket is $40. Cash or checks should be made payable to: Friends and Volunteers of the Ocean City Free Public Library (FVOCFPL).
