The Ocean City Environmental Commission is seeking volunteers to join in a cleanup at Corson's Inlet State Park from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, March 19.
This cleanup is a partnership between the AmeriCorps New Jersey Watershed Ambassador Program and the New Jersey State Parks.
Volunteers are asked to bring their own bucket. Masks are required to attend. Dress warm.

The following week, on Saturday, March 26 at 10 a.m., the Environmental Commission along with the Ocean City High School Environmental Association will be planting beach plums.
The plantings will take place at the 57th Street and Central Avenue beach access road, rain or shine. The public is invited to participate.
Beach Plum cuttings will be provided by Jalma Farms. Alma George will provide instructions on how to plant them and an overview of beach plum benefits.
Volunteers will need to be dressed for the weather of the day with work gloves and hard-soled shoes. Bring shovels to dig a two-foot deep hole and buckets for topsoil.
