Snow kept falling in Ocean City and throughout the region Monday morning, leaving roadways slick and many closures from schools to city buildings.
The winter storm was expected to bring six to eight inches of heavy snow through 4 p.m. Monday. Winds gusting above 40 mph could create moderate flooding.
On Sunday night the Ocean City School District issued an alert that all schools would be closed Monday.
The Ocean City Community Center and all facilities within it closed at noon Monday and will reopen Tuesday, according to a city news release.
