On Thursday, April 21, the Ocean City Free Public Library will host a virtual presentation, called "From High Point to Cape May," about the beautiful and diverse areas of New Jersey, with featured speaker Jim Peck.
The presentation will be held at 7 p.m. via Zoom. Peck will show his photos and discuss little known natural areas found all across the state. He has traveled through New Jersey for 14 years exploring and writing the "Trail Mix Nature Column" for the Home News Tribune. He has also visited 49 states, with just North Dakota to go.

Peck is an amateur naturalist who worked for over three years as the education director of the American Littoral Society, a coastal conservation non-profit located on Sandy Hook.
He also served for three years as the executive director of the Cora Hartshorn Arboretum and Bird Sanctuary in Short Hills, N.J., working to educate the public and restore native plants in the 16-acre arboretum.
