A public forum on the Ocean City School District’s search for a new superintendent will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 12, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the high school media center.
The forum will be conducted by the professional search firm Strategic Educational Advantage, or SEA.
SEA was chosen by the Board of Education in the spring upon receiving the notification of former Schools Superintendent Dr. Kathleen Taylor's retirement.
Some things the search group will discuss at the open forum are as follows:
What are the strengths of the district?
What are the challenges facing the new superintendent?
What are the characteristics you would like to see in the new superintendent?
In addition, there will be an overview of the process and any questions will be answered.
