OCNJ AARP Chapter 1062 is partnering with the Alzheimer’s Association, Delaware Valley Chapter, to host a webinar at noon on Friday, March 12.
The topic is “Understanding Alzheimer’s and Dementia.”
Alzheimer’s is not normal aging. It is a disease of the brain that causes problems with memory, thinking and behavior, according to an AARP release.
Join the webinar to learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s, the difference between Alzheimer’s and dementia, the disease stages, risk factors, current research, available treatments and Alzheimer’s Association resources.
If you or anyone in your family is a caretaker of someone diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s, AARP Chapter 1062 encourages you to participate in this seminar.
Registration is required.
