The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch in effect for Ocean City 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday.
A line of severe thunderstorms is expected to pass through the region this evening. The formation of tornadoes is possible throughout the region. Damaging non-tornado winds, large hail and heavy rain are also possible, according to a weather alert issued by the city.
Loose objects on your property should be brought inside or secured. All contractors are asked to secure job sites. Driving conditions could be hazardous.
Localized street flooding could occur. Please be prepared to move vehicles in advance of these storms.
