On Monday, Jan. 25 from 7-9 p.m., the Ocean City Free Public Library will hold a free virtual program called “What’s It Worth? Antiques Road Show," with Pennsylvania auctioneer Mike Ivankovich hosting the presentation. Ivankovich, an author, auctioneer, appraiser and radio show host will introduce attendees to ways to determine the value of antiques and collectibles and personal treasures. During the virtual program, he will evaluate attendees' items, one-by-one, and share buying and selling tips and strategies. Anyone who wishes to have his or her item appraised is asked to email Julie Howard, the OCFPL Adult Programming librarian, at [email protected]. Spots are limited and appraisals will be done in the order of registration. Participants will be invited to show one item during the appraisal and should have a backup item on hand. It will take two to three minutes per appraisal. If you would just like to watch and not get anything appraised, email Julie Howard at [email protected] and mention that you will only be watching.
