As the state slowly starts to reopen and transition into the new normal, it is important to continue to practice prevention measures, according to a county press release. “You are not only protecting yourself, you’re protecting others and possibly saving a life,” said Kevin Thomas, Cape May County health officer. There is currently no vaccine for COVID-19. The best way to prevent COVID-19 is to avoid being exposed, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Ways to avoid being exposed include:
  • Stay 6 Feet Apart
  • Washing Hands Frequently
  • Cover Your Nose and Mouth with a Cloth Mask
  • Cover Coughs and Sneezes
  • Clean and Disinfect
