The Cape May County Health Department is beginning COVID-19 vaccinations for health care professionals, including front line health care workers and first responders, the county announced Wednesday.
Health care professionals eligible for vaccinations should call 609-463-6581, option 3, to schedule their shots.
As more vaccine becomes available, county health officials will begin to move into the other phases for vaccinations set by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the New Jersey Department of Health.
Cape May County will be conducting outreach to local government, the business community and others early in the new year to detail the plan for more widespread distribution and administration of the vaccine as it becomes available, according to a county press release.
