Ocean City AARP Chapter 1062 will host a Zoom webinar on Dec. 14 at 12 noon about the community assistance group OCNJ CARE.
The webinar’s guest speaker, Drew Fasy, is chairman of OCNJ CARE and the topic of discussion will be “What is OCNJ CARE, how do they help our community and what you can do to be involved.”
OCNJ CARE is a nonprofit organization formed by Ocean City volunteers and community members in cooperation with the city and the Ocean City Regional Chamber of Commerce.
The group is prepared to help in many ways:
- To assist at-risk populations (including older adults) in shopping, picking up medications and other things.
- In cooking and delivering meals to anybody in need, including schoolchildren and older adults.
- In providing relief for families that cannot meet basic needs.
Fasy will also field questions from participants during the webinar.
