Two More Cape May County Residents Die of Coronavirus

The Cape May County Health Department reported Monday that a 65-year-old woman from Dennis Township and a 92-year-old woman from Lower Township have died of COVID-19. Thirteen new cases were confirmed. Cape May County’s coronavirus cases now total 302, including 20 deaths overall, according to a press release. “We extend our deepest condolences to the loved ones of these residents,” Cape May County Freeholder Director Gerald Thornton said. “While we have expected more cases, these deaths are another reminder that protection of our community is critical.” Following is a breakdown of the total number of coronavirus cases and deaths for each municipality in Cape May County:
