Sturdy Savings Bank has announced that Trina McSorley, has been promoted from senior vice president to executive vice president.
Prior to her promotion, McSorley, who is also Director of Human Resources at Sturdy Savings Bank, worked for the bank in this capacity for eight years, bringing more than 25 years of experience in Human Resources to her position.
She also serves as board secretary and assistant corporate secretary for the bank; and holds several certifications, including a senior professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR) from HRCI (Human Resource Certification Institute), and a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM (Society for Human Resources Management).
McSorley holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Economics from Messiah College and Master of Business Administration from Monmouth University.

Her dedication to her job is also reflective in her volunteer work. She has participated in Operation Fireside with the Red Cross for over 10 years; and serves on the boards of Volunteers in Medicine (Finance and Human Resource Committees) and Family Promise (Treasurer).
Additionally, she serves in a leadership role of the Southern Shore HR Management Association, a SHRM affiliated chapter; and on the Cape May County Coast Guard Community Foundation Festival Committee.
She was previously on the Board of the Southern Shore Chapter of the American Red Cross and served on allocation committees for the United Way of Atlantic County for 11 years.
