The Ocean City Fine Arts League presents the winners in the “Shadows” Art Show & Exhibition in March.
- First place: Dennis Doyle, of Boston, oil painting, “Under the Bridge.”
- Second Place: Janis Albuck, of Ventnor, photo, “Yellow Springs.”
- Third Place: Grace Zambelli, of Ventnor, acrylic, “At the Stage Door.”
- Honorable Mention: Charles Wray, of Galloway Township, wood, “Good Vibrations,” and Amy Mahon, of Ocean City, acrylic, “This Must be the Place.
Artists should start thinking about silos, structures and steel for the “Buildings – Rural & Urban” themed show in April.
As a reminder, the gallery’s new location is at 711 Asbury Avenue and it is open seven days a week. The gallery has been restocked and all artwork is for sale, including one-of-a-kind pieces done by local artists.
In addition to the artwork in the exhibition, the gallery showcases watercolor, glass, mixed media, pottery, photography, oil, acrylic, textiles, jewelry and sculpture. All of them are made by professional local artisans.
