Police determined a pedestrian in an accident at 34th Street at West Avenue Saturday was at fault.

A pedestrian was struck by a car at 10:21 a.m. at the corner of 34th Street and West Avenue on Saturday, Ocean City Police Department spokesman Sgt. Pat Randles said.
The pedestrian, whose name was not immediately released by police, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Shore Medical Center in Somers Point. The accident is under investigation by Officer Brian Teeney and the Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit.
