Tips for Thawing Frozen Pipes
1. Locate the Frozen Pipe
Frozen pipes often have frost on them or may have a slight bulge
2. Open the Faucet Both Hot & Cold
Relieves pressure in the system & allows the water to escape once thawed
3. Thawing Process
Start near the faucet & work your way down
4. Thawing Exposed Pipes
You can use a hair dryer, portable space heater, hot towels etc. DO NOT use an open flame
5. Thawing Enclosed Pipes
Turn up the heat in the property or use an infrared light
6. If the Pipe Bursts
Shut off the main water line into your property then
