Damp and dreary weather will continue this week as several low pressure systems move through. In addition to the occasional rain, we also will be dealing with some coastal flooding.
A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect Thursday night (between 7-10pm) as we enter a new moon phase along with steady onshore winds. Tides will run around 1 foot above normal which will cause some road closures in the usual areas on the island. The surf will also be increasing. Waves run up to 4-6 feet on Thursday as the low pressure system moves offshore.
