Saturday, May 13, 2017, amid heavy rain and rising tides, the Ocean City Post Office held their 25th annual National food drive. The Postmen traversed the streets of Ocean City to pick up donations of non-perishable food items for the Ocean City Ecumenical Council Community Food Cupboard. Our many volunteers assisted with the off-loading, weighing, sorting and shelving the 4,157 pounds of donations from our community.
It is with grateful thanks that we acknowledge the efforts of the postal workers, community, volunteers and all those that assisted in this wonderful drive.
Gratefully,
Dorothy Cianci, Coordinator of the Ocean City Ecumenical Council Community Food Cupboard
