Now that the quick hitting coastal storm is moving away, cloudy and windy conditions will continue for the remainder of the day with a few light showers/drizzle still possible. Ocean City picked up over 3" of rain in a short time which caused flooding in the usual locations on the island.
Northeast winds will continue to gust out of the northeast over 20mph. The surf will still be quite rough due to the coastal storm tracking offshore. There will be a high risk of rip currents with 7-9 foot surf.
Sunshine will return for Sunday with temperatures climbing back to near 80 degrees. UV Index will return to high and the surf will ease up a little back down to 2-4 feet.
For the remainder of next week, high pressure will take control with plenty of sunshine and temperatures in the low 80s.
