The musical adaptation of the popular Dreamworks series brought back the beloved characters seen on the big screen, this time to the local boardwalk stage. OCTC’s cast delivered fantastic portrayals of the beloved movie characters adding in new and exciting musical performances which kept the family filled audience excited and engaged throughout the show. The show’s fast pace, witty humor, and exciting musical numbers had the audience laughing dancing from beginning to end. After receiving their applause the cast took the opportunity to talk to and take pictures with their fans.
This show represented an important milestone for the Summer Children’s Theatre and OCTC as a whole. 10 years and counting since its birth and OCTC summertime series has established itself as a must-see summertime event for families in Ocean City.
Founding Director, Michael Hartman, expressed thanks from the entire theatre company for continued support by local sponsors and the fans who continually fill the theatre. Thanks too goes out to the cast and production staff whose dedication has brought and will continue to bring fantastic shows to the Jersey shore.
