Margaret Thoms Spurlock passed away peacefully at Crest Haven Nursing Home on January 22, 2017. Margaret was born on June 11, 1931 in Galloway Township, NJ and grew up in Egg Harbor City. She raised her family in Somers Point, NJ before retiring to Sebastian, FL. She was the daughter of Arthur “Buck” and Henrietta Thoms. She was married to Raymond Spurlock (deceased), also pre-deceased by her brother, Fred Thoms, and son in law, David “Ed” Edwards. She is survived by her son, John (Christine) Northfield, Cheryl Edwards Ocean City, Richard (Monica) Marmora, RacAnn (Tony) Marquez Colorado, and Steven Las Vegas, grandchildren Curran (Mah) Scoble, Beau (Allison) Ridge, Sloane Spurlock, Jodie (Aaron) Mazza, Megan (Keith) Rattray, Shannon (Drew) Bugg, Colleen Spurlock, Joe Spurlock, Anthony (Rachel) Marquez, Andrew (Dominique) Marquez, Andre Marquez and Steven Spurlock Jr., 13 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her sisters, Lois Mazza (Hammonton) and Marlene Vignall (Egg Harbor City). Burial will be private.
