Last night's Spring-like t'storms was a battle zone between the unseasonably warm air and more seasonable chilly air behind the front. While the coast has not enjoyed the 70s like the rest of New Jersey, temperatures were still above normal for February.
Sunday will feature plenty of sunshine but it will be windy. Unlike the last several days, where winds came off of the chilly ocean, drier Northwest winds will keep temperatures in the upper 40s but gusts to 30mph+ will make it feel like its in the 30s.
Wind gusts Sunday will gust 25-30mph+ behind the front with temperatures dropping into the 30s.
Once again the cold temperatures will not last, temperatures will rebound back to the 50s to possibly 60+ on Wednesday but it will be unsettled. A warm front will lift north on Tuesday bringing our first chance of showers this week.
Low pressure system will move to our north & west keeping us in the moist and mild flow bringing more rain into our area on Wednesday.
The roller coaster pattern continues as another brief shot of chilly air arrives for the end of the week with highs returning to the mid 40s for Friday & Saturday.
Computers models show a cold start to next weekend as Saturday morning lows could be in the 20s with afternoon highs in the mid 40s.
There is a chance of a weak storm system that will slide though the area but right now moisture is limited with this system.
