Dynamic Founding Pastor of Liquid Church, And Iconic Eastern University Professor With Grammy Award Winning Vocalist, Speak At AM, PM Services At The Tabernacle

Tim Lucas, author, founder and lead pastor of Liquid Church, one of New Jersey’s fastest-growing Christian churches will be speaking at 8:30 am and 10:30 am morning services at the Ocean City Tabernacle this Sunday, August 20th. Lucas and wife Colleen began Liquid with twelve friends in 2001 in the basements of an aging church. Since then, Liquid quickly grew into a community with four multisite campuses in the tristate area. Lucas has been featured by CNN and the New York Times. He is also the author of the bestselling book, I Married the Wrong Person. At 7pm, Pastor and Professor Emeritus Tony Campolo makes a return appearance with recording artist Mark Lowry for an evening of inspirational testimony and worship.  In 2006, Tony and Mark teamed up for the first time for a weekly podcast “Saturdays with Mark and Tony” to give voice to a growing number of Evangelicals. This Sunday, the duo joins forces to entertain and inspire in an evening that will make you laugh, cry and worship through inspired storytelling and song. It’s an evening you don’t want to miss!
