Ocean City's business community kicked off the start of girls weekend on Friday night, with a fashion show highlighting models and new cloths from different stores around the island. Held in the Studios of
Glazed Over, located between 7
th and 8
th streets on Asbury Ave. Clothing stores were not the only businesses recognized. Refreshments and light foods were served from local restaurants during the event.
Audience members eagerly waiting for the show to start.
The night started off with clothing from Bowfish Kids. The adorable young children got the crowd delighted as they walked down the runway strutting their stuff. Immediately following the kids was something almost as cute, Dogs. Animal House gave the audience a fun few minutes filled with furry friends dressed in adorable outfits. The animals had their exercise and headed out. Then even more children came out to play on the runway! Sea Oats Children’s Shop gave us some of our most cherished moments for the night. Finishing out the children and transitioning to adults was a perfect segway with Bohemian Mama. The adults took the runway next. Stores like the Sneaker Shop, Harbor Outfitters, Making Waves, and SunSeekers showed off their newest outfits. Up next was PLAAY. Showing off their yoga pants and their yoga instructors, PLAAY was a fun addition to the mix.

After the yoga instructors, the models from Donna Gay Dillon, and TaDah kept up the excitement and showed off their fun summer fashions. To wind down the evening, the models from STORY/Next Chapter, Bella Beach Boutique, and Hearth & Sole captured our attention one last time before the night was over.

Just as we thought we had seen everything, the city’s councilmen had to crash the party, sporting wardrobes supplied by 7th Street Surf Shop. The men walked down the runway looking as confused as you would expect.
When the models were finished the master of ceremonies for the night, Mr. Michael Hartman, began picking the winners for the prize drawings. Many people won prizes, and even more people walked away with a smile on their face. The fashion show was a huge success.
