Village ShopRite has supported the Walk to Defeat ALS® for over a decade
The ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter shares its deepest gratitude to Village ShopRite and their customers for raising $95,000 this summer to support the Ocean City Board… Walk to Defeat ALS. Special thanks goes towards the top five participating Village ShopRite stores.
1. Chester, raising $7,807
"We had to think outside the box this year to meet our goal. We started selling hot dogs in front of the store and quickly realized we could better service customers if we had a drive thru. This was one of the biggest hits of the two week campaign. We're so happy that our customers and associates stepped up this year to take the top spot and provide almost eight thousand dollars towards an amazing cause." Scott Holds - Store Assistant Manager ShopRite of Chester
2. Rio Grande, raising $6,917
This store had the most creative ice bucket challenge, and partnered with the local fire department to make a maximum splash!
