Welcome Night, which took place at a new location, the Ocean City Civic Center, was the Chamber’s formal welcome to Ocean City residents and visitors alike in anticipation of the 2017 season. In addition to area businesses, local and county government officials were on hand for the festivities. Mark Reimet of the Ocean City Financial Group had a busy evening talking with the constant flow of new faces and old friends. Attendees had the chance to gather information on local organizations, groups, houses of worship, and more importantly to meet the people representing these entities in a relaxed informal setting. There were door prizes, give-aways, and for the kids, an appearance by OC’s own mascot hermit crab, Martin Z. Mollusk.
