Summer-Like temperatures to continue into your Memorial Day Weekend! Another sunny day today but not as hot as afternoon seabreezes should kick in during the afternoon. Highs will climb to near 80 before the winds shift to the south. The threat of an isolated shower or t'storm exists each day but the best chances will be well inland. The best chance of any rain could be on Memorial Day as a cold front approaches. Also, a weak disturbance off the Southeast coast has a potential of becoming our next tropical storm. Conditions are expected to become more favorable this weekend as it drifts towards the Southeastern U.S. At this time there is no threat to our area and intensity may not exceed tropical storm strength.
One important note..USE THE SUNBLOCK! May has been a rather dismal month with most days shrouded in cloud cover. Remember we are entering the season where the sun at its highest angle in the sky (Now through July). You will burn in 20-30 minutes without protection.
