As Ocean City dries out from the major flooding of a weekend nor'easter, OCNJ CARE is asking for donations to help those who were affected by the storm.
The nonprofit community organization was formed in the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy in 2012 to assist Ocean City with food, clothing and shelter needs, and the community rallied behind the group to help those most in need.
Damage from the recent flood is not nearly of the same magnitude as that of Sandy, but some residences and businesses were flooded.
"We have issues, but we don't know exactly yet what they are," OCNJ CARE chairman Drew Fasy said on Monday. "We'll try to help."
OCNJ CARE encourages contributions to allow the group to help not only those affected by the recent storm but by any other sort of tragedy.
